OSSOA Membership Information

Who can be a member?

Active members can be anyone who:

Is a school district employee directly connected to district safety programs.
Is an official or employee of education service districts or the Oregon Department of Education who is directly concerned with safety programs in Oregon schools.
Is an Oregon college or university faculty member who is interested in school safety programs.

Associate members can be anyone who:

Is not eligible for active membership. Associate members are nonvoting.

What are the benefits?

As a member you will:

Be able to participate in the Annual Summer Workshop at a reduced rate. You’ll also be able to network with fellow safety officers from across the state.
Receive regular newsletters with the latest school safety information as well as association news.
Be able to participate in a members only Listserv. You’ll be able to send and respond to requests for information to fellow safety officers across the state.
Have access to a network of professionals who can assist your district in solving safety issues.

How to join:

The annual membership fee is $10 per person. Simply print out and complete the membership application and return it, with your membership fee, to OSSOA.
