OSSOA Membership Information
Who can be a member?
Active members can be anyone who:
- Is a school district employee directly connected to district safety programs.
- Is an official or employee of education service districts or the Oregon Department of Education who is directly concerned with safety programs in Oregon schools.
- Is an Oregon college or university faculty member who is interested in school safety programs.
Associate members can be anyone who:
- Is not eligible for active membership. Associate members are nonvoting.
What are the benefits?
As a member you will:
- Be able to participate in the Annual Summer Workshop at a reduced rate. You’ll also be able to network with fellow safety officers from across the state.
- Receive regular newsletters with the latest school safety information as well as association news.
- Be able to participate in a members only Listserv. You’ll be able to send and respond to requests for information to fellow safety officers across the state.
- Have access to a network of professionals who can assist your district in solving safety issues.
How to join:
The annual membership fee is $10 per person. Simply print out and complete the membership application and return it, with your membership fee, to OSSOA.
